Independent fibre network operator MS3 is proud to announce a deal that will see its second duct network in Hull used by CityFibre as it rolls-out a city-wide alternative fibre infrastructure. The agreement will enable CityFibre to reduce its deployment costs, accelerate its build schedule and bring forward the delivery of ‘gigabit as standard’ business services to businesses in the city.
MS3 Managing Director Tony Hales welcomed the agreement and said it is encouraging to see organisations working together to boost Hull’s communications capabilities.
Mr Hales said “As a business with significant fibre and duct assets in the city, we are delighted to be able to support CityFibre with this important network project that will make a huge difference to the connectivity options available to businesses and service providers in our city.”
The agreement will enable CityFibre to install their own fibre optic cables through MS3’s duct network and interconnect with CityFibre’s network, currently being deployed in other parts of Hull.
James Thomas, Director of Operations at CityFibre said “As an infrastructure builder, we always look to improve efficiencies, accelerate our roll-outs and access new areas. MS3’s duct network enables us to do just this. Ultimately this means that a city-wide alternative digital infrastructure in Hull will be opened up even faster.
The news is just one of a number of exciting projects which MS3 are expected to announce over the next few months.
