News: MS3 shortlisted for a national award

Local fibre network operator MS3 have recently made the shortlist in the Urban Networks category of the Next Generation Digital Challenge Awards 2015. The awards programme showcases the best in next generation digital access infrastructure innovation and runs alongside the annual NextGen Digital Conference.
Managing Director Tony Hales said being shortlisted for the award highlights the great progress made by MS3 recently with a number of commercial partnerships bearing fruition.
Tony said “We’re thrilled to make the shortlist for this award. It is very rewarding to be recognised for the hard work we’ve put in to building the region’s first alternative fibre network.
“We’ve secured a number of exciting partnerships in 2015 and it would be a fantastic achievement to win this award.”
Having made the final five MS3 will now be expected to submit a case study ahead of the NextGen 15 Digital Conference in London in November. Also shortlisted for the award are CityFibre, Metronet (UK), Venus and Genesis Technical Systems.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in the House of Lords on the 5th November.
